KARACHI: Sindh government on Thursday removed heath secretary Iqbal Hussain Durrani from his post.
According to the Sindh government notification Allem Uddin Billu designated as new health secretary health.
It is pertinent to mention here that removed secretary has come to lime light when his dispute with former health minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed erupted.
Dr Sagheer who belonged to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) had alleged that the secretary has been running the ministry on dictation.
It is also to mention here that the Sindh government got bad name in children deaths in drought hit Tharparkar.
As many as 86 children have died in the drought hit Mithi in current month so far.
